The Port Captain optimizes the commercial and operational performance of the dry bulk fleet during port calls to minimize turnaround times and prevent cargo damage. This includes supervising loading/discharging operations, managing claims, and ensuring strict compliance with international maritime safety codes. Candidates should ideally hold a Master Mariner (Class 1 CoC) license with sailing experience as Master or Chief Officer on Bulk Carriers.
