Audit Associate

ABOUT THE ROLE You will be performing statutory audit of financial statements including audit planning, review and execution of audit engagements of various entities in different industries. JOB DESCRIPTION perform audits relating to a portfolio of companies across a broad spectrum of industries. be responsible for the planning, execution and documentation of audit fieldwork. follow up on audit findings independently. For senior associates, you shall be expected to lead audit engagements, and guide the junior associates on the engagement team. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE have an ACCA qualification or accounting degree which is recognised by the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, or have the Chartered Accountant of Singapore qualification. have at least 1 year of relevant audit experience for associate level or minimum of 3 years experience for senior associate level. preferably possess knowledge of Caseware audit software. have sound knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and Singapore Standards on Auditing have strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. The ability to read and interpret technical standards and routine commercial contracts is essential. be able to work under pressure be able to work both independently and as part of a team
