Assistant ACMV Engineer

Job Responsibilities Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of ACMV (Air Conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation) projects. Support the Project Engineer/Project Manager in managing project schedules, manpower, materials, and subcontractors. Conduct site inspections to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with project specifications and safety requirements. Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Prepare and submit technical documents, shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and project reports. Attend site meetings and record meeting minutes where required. Assist in troubleshooting technical issues and provide practical solutions during project execution. Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with local regulations, codes of practice, and company standards. Monitor project costs and assist in controlling material usage and site productivity. Support project testing, commissioning, inspections, and handover documentation. Perform any other engineering or project-related duties assigned by the management. Job Requirements Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in ACMV engineering, preferably in Singapore. Good knowledge of ACMV systems, including chilled water systems, VRV/VRF systems, ductwork, ventilation, and mechanical services. Familiar with Singapore codes, standards, and regulations related to ACMV works. Able to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents. Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD. Knowledge of BIM/Revit will be an added advantage. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Good time management skills and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines. Possession of a valid Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage.
