Project Manager - Fire Protection

Project Manager – Fire Protection Ø Full Time position Ø Basic + Performance Bonus Ø 5.5 days Ø Location: East Ubi Ø Industry: Fire ProtectionSystem KeyResponsibilities Manage all phases of fire protection system projects, including planning, coordination execution, testing, commissioning, and project close-out. Lead and manage supervisors, safety coordinators, and fire protection sub-contractors, including allocating manpower and resources. Review project specifications, drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals. Prepare and manage project schedules and budgets Monitor project progress and ensure quality, safety, and compliance with local fire codes and industry standards. Lead site meetings, supervise installation teams, and resolve technical and project-related issues. Oversee testing, commissioning, authority inspections, final acceptance and project hand-overs. Lead the team in preparing and securing approvals for shop drawings, fire-rated materials, risk assessments, and method statements. Coordinate directly with main contractors, consultants, and clients to resolve site issues and implement contingency plans. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of proven experience in managing Fire Protection System projects. Extensive knowledge of fire protection systems, including design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance. Experienced and equipped with knowledge in M&E Services (ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing/Sanitary Services, Fire Protection) in the related field is required for this position. Strong understanding of applicable fire codes, standards, and local authority requirements. Experience managing commercial, industrial, residential, and high-rise building projects. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and project management software.
