About this role

Position Summary: The role of the Quality Engineer is to support Production and MRO lines. He/she has the objectives to meet regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and assist in performing continual improvements in the scope of Part-21G, Part-145 and QMS requirements. He/she assists the daily operational issues and is one of the points of contacts with both operation lines. Responsibilities Maintains the Quality Management System for both Production and MRO lines Ensures regulatory and company manuals and procedures are updated and deployed effectively Assists in the qualification assessments to authorize Technicians, Inspectors and Signatories / Certifying Staff Ensures staff trainings and qualifications are managed in a timely manner as per plan Ensures internal audits are conducted timely Facilitates Regulatory and Customer Audits/visits effectively Ensures proper facilitation of customer visits for assessment and customer improvement plans Manages the compliance to applicable Airworthiness Directives Ensures FAIs are reviewed and verified accurately Ensures qualifications of test equipment are performed effectively Supports the assessment and readiness review of any new production/repair capabilities Performs investigations into aviation safety events and product non-conformities, including root cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions recommendations Any other duties as and when assigned by the supervisor Experience and Qualifications: Degree / Diploma in Engineering, Aeronautical or related field 3 – 5 years of working experience in Quality Assurance in commercial aviation in a manufacturing environment Knowledgeable in Part-21G and Part-145 regulatory requirements, including Safety Management System, Information Security Management System and AS/EN9100 standards Qualified lead / internal auditor (AS/EN9100 / ISO9001) is preferred Quality and Safety inclined IT proficient with good working knowledge in SAP Experience in process developments and problem-solving methodologies (e.g. 8D) Experience in managing site security would be an advantage Good communication skills and self-motivated and has the initiative to look at things from a different perspective Responsible, team oriented, resourceful and able to work independently with minimum supervision
