This role is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, inspection, testing, repair, and release-to-service of aircraft components in accordance with approved technical documentation, airworthiness requirements, and quality standards. The role involves interpreting maintenance manuals and service instructions, completing accurate maintenance records, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The incumbent is expected to work independently with minimal supervision, maintain high standards of workmanship, support operational efficiency, and collaborate effectively within the workshop environment to meet customer and organizational objectives. A. Job responsibilities •Dissemble various types of aircraft components •Perform trouble shooting, assembly, inspection and testing of aircraft components •Perform minor rework or call out the relevant repair scheme •Read and understand CMM, Service Bulletins, Standard Practices or other relevant Airworthiness Data •Complete the documentation and records for each component and where applicable, sign and stamp each stage of the work performed •Release of components to service •Proficient in most of the requirements for multiple products •Cost conscious and have a sense of urgency to complete jobs by stipulated deadlines •Ability to work in various areas of the shop, uses sound judgment and is a team player •Accept ownership for the work assigned to him and perform his job in a safe and proficient manner •Able to work independently with minimum supervision and possess basic problem solving skills •Aid in the maintenance of his personal work area, the workshop and shared facilities and equipment •Participate in the Continuous Improvement projects in Customer Service Department (methods) to promote efficiency and productivity. •Comply with all health, safety and environment (HSE) regulations as prescribed by law •Actively participate and contribute to HSE initiatives & Corporate HSE programs and in HSE risk communications & mitigations. •Any other duties assigned. B. Qualifications & Experience •Diploma / Nitec / Professional Certificates in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering •Preferably with 2 years experience in aircraft component repairs and maintenance •Good written and spoken English essential •Good computer and interpersonal skills •Relevant CAAS papers will be an advantage C.
