WSH Coordinator

Responsibilities Safety Implementation To assist implement the Workplace Safety & Health Management System across assigned operational areas. Ensure compliance with WSH Act, regulations and company safety procedures. Safety Coordination Support implementation of the Business Unit safety management system. Site Safety Inspections Travel to operational sites to conduct safety inspections and monitoring of work activities. Identify unsafe acts and unsafe conditions and recommend corrective actions. Verify that risk control measures stated in Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures are implemented. Permit-to-Work (PTW) Act as Permit-to-Work Assessor for high-risk activities. Ensure safety controls are in place before work commencement. Safety Reporting Prepare safety inspection reports and submit findings to Responsible Person. Prepare and submit WSH reports, and other reports to the BU WSHO as required by the BU safety reporting framework. Follow up on corrective actions and track closure of safety findings. Incident Response Report incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions promptly. Assist in incident investigation and corrective action implementation. Stakeholder Coordination Support safety inspections and audits conducted by clients or authorities. Additional Responsibilities Assist in safety audits and safety programmes. Carry out any other duties assigned by the Company or Management from time to time. Candidates with strong experience may be considered for a lead role. Requirements Minimum WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH (Level B) with valid 2‑year WSHC Refresher (mandatory). Good knowledge of the WSH Act, subsidiary regulations, relevant Singapore Standards and codes of practice. Basic understanding of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 (advantage). Able to conduct inspections, identify unsafe acts/conditions, and support incident investigations. Strong communication and engagement skills with workers and supervisors.
