Global and local businesses have established goals to attain net zero carbon emissions by 2040/ 2050, with a strong emphasis on Green Mark Certification, WELLS, and LEED. Roles & Responsibilities Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the energy and sustainability sector. Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's client base. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their energy and sustainability objectives. Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals and presentations for prospective clients, showcasing our expertise in energy management and sustainability solutions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution, from initial client engagement to project completion. Utilize knowledge of the Green Mark Certification process to guide clients through the certification journey, ensuring compliance with standards and achieving desired ratings. Leverage expertise in HVAC retrofit to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and recommend appropriate retrofit solutions. Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the energy and sustainability sector. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to build brand awareness and establish industry connections. Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company. Keep track of the projects in progress. Requirements A successful candidate for this position must be able to fulfill each required responsibility properly. This position requires a good background in engineering, energy, and/or sustainability, as well as a strong interest and motivation in the disciplines of Energy and Sustainability. Success requires the ability to learn new topics and adapt to different environments. Bachelor degree in a related technical subject or in Business (e.g. Engineering, Sustainability, Energy, project facilities management, projects, Building, Facilities Management, Building Services) Familiar with Green Mark Certification & HVAC Retrofit is preferred 3-5 years of experience in delivering sustainability consulting projects, green building projects, or in a related role is preferred ACMV knowledge is preferred Excellent communication abilities, including report writing and visual and verbal presentation approaches, as well as the ability to read and comprehend reports and technical drawings. Interest in energy & sustainability. Interact with multiple groups, such as relevant government bodies (BCA, NEA, for example) or civic organizations and corporate personnel. Explore and introduce new market-available technology and products. Analytical in interpreting trends from data generated from an energy management system and highlighting anomalies in the data Flexible and efficient in problem-solving Excellent planning and organizing skills Meticulous and works well in a dynamic work environment Able to work independently within a team environment
