[Temp] Science Explainer, Gallery Experience

Do you have an interest in Science? Do you possess a spark for learning new things? Do you want to build your own skills while learning to help others? We are looking for students who are passionate about science and technology to join our Science Explainer's team. We can offer you an enriched learning environment where you can explore science, gain job skills, and learn how to work with people you might not otherwise meet. As a Science Explainer, you have the important responsibility of being the Centre’s primary point of contact with guests. You will communicate key scientific concepts to guests, facilitate station activities in the galleries, and conduct scientific demonstrations to engage guests. • Between ages 16 – 25 years old • Enjoy meeting people and working in teams • Good interpersonal communication skills and be fluent in English • Be curious, mature, open-minded, and eager to learn more about science • Able to work a minimum of 1 weekend day (Sat or Sun) every 2 weeks • Background in Science is good but not a strict requirement How to Apply: Please use the link below to submit your application.
