We are looking for a UX Researcher & Service Designer to support the design and enhancement of a government digital platform serving the Muslim community. You will conduct user research, map end-to-end service journeys, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design user-centric digital services that are accessible, inclusive, and aligned with Singapore Government digital standards. Working Hours: Mon-Fri Working Location: Central Salary Package: Up to $10,000 (basic)+ AWS Key Responsibilities Plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, including interviews, contextual inquiry, surveys, and usability testing. Analyse user needs, behaviours, and pain points to generate actionable insights. Facilitate stakeholder workshops, co-creation sessions, and design thinking activities. Develop personas, customer journey maps, service blueprints, and user flows. Translate research findings into service design recommendations and product improvements. Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle. Validate concepts and prototypes through iterative user testing. Ensure digital services align with accessibility guidelines, Digital Service Standards (DSS), and government UX best practices. Prepare research reports, design artefacts, and presentations for stakeholders. Requirements Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, Information Systems, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in UX research, service design, or customer experience design. Strong understanding of user research methodologies and service design principles. Experience planning and conducting usability testing. Proficiency with Figma, Miro, and other UX research and collaboration tools. Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience working within Agile product delivery teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering Singapore Government or public sector digital projects. Familiarity with Singapore Government UX standards and Digital Service Standards (DSS). Experience designing citizen-facing digital services. Awareness of IM8 security and governance considerations during digital service design. Experience working with multilingual or community-focused digital platforms is an advantage.
