Job Description: We're seeking a motivated and highly self-disciplined intern to join our growing property management company. What makes this role different: Managed by objectives, not hours—we trust you to get the work done Zero experience required—we provide comprehensive in-house training Direct reporting to our Operations Manager who will support your growth Opportunity to challenge and improve our existing processes and workflows What You'll Do Your role spans three core areas: Operations & Tenant Management Enforce property policies and address violations promptly Coordinate repair and maintenance issues efficiently Conduct thorough room inspections during tenant onboarding and off-boarding Support property agents during viewings with prospective tenants Orientate new tenants on house rules, payment schedules, and other policies Respond to urgent on-site emergencies (power outages, plumbing issues, etc.) Inspect properties regularly to ensure good living conditions and tenant compliance Vendor & Contractor Coordination Attend contractor site surveys and manage property access Liaise between customer support teams and service providers Oversee and address cleaning and all other maintenance matters promptly New Projects Assess and report on potential properties for acquisition Assist with space planning and layout design Manage utility and internet account applications, renewals, and closures Obtain contractor quotations and supervise work progress Inspect completed work and identify any defects or issues What You Need Essential: Strong proficiency in written and spoken English Comfortable with Google tools (Drive, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) Proficient with email systems Willingness to learn and take initiative Willingness to take responsibility and be accountable Comfortable traveling to different locations daily via public transport for inspections and maintenance-related matters Able to work independently and manage your own schedule with self-discipline Advantageous (good to have, but not a must to have): Experience with task management tools Experience with team collaboration and communication tools Familiar with chatbot or customer support platforms Proficient with AI tools such as ChatGPT Prior exposure to property management systems Graduating from ITE/Polytechnic/University in the next 3 to 6 months Not required: Previous property management experience Driving licence What We Offer Objectives-based management—if we have to micromanage you, you're unfit for the role Progressive, but comprehensive training on our systems, processes, and tools Autonomous work environment where your self-discipline and initiative is highly valued Direct mentorship from our Operations Manager Documented SOPs and workflows to guide you, with the freedom to suggest improvements Upon completion of your internship, we may offer you a full-time role What We're Looking For We want someone who: Is disciplined and thrives in independent work environments Is naturally curious and eager to learn Takes ownership of problems and finds solutions Is comfortable with digital tools and AI, while picking up new systems or tools quickly Values continuous improvement and isn't afraid to question "the way we've always done it" Can communicate clearly and succinctly with all stakeholders Is organised, can juggle multiple tasks and know how to prioritise them Important Note on Travel You will need to travel to various property locations daily for inspections, viewings, and on-site issues.
