About this role
Role Summary: Seeking a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure, containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines, focusing on automation, security, scalability, and monitoring in Azure environments. Reports to: Senior Manager, Infrastructure Roles and Responsibilities: Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using Microsoft Azure. Implement and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters for containerized applications, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring. Manage and maintain databases instances (SQL, Mongo), including backups, scaling, and performance tuning. Create, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps. Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform for provisioning and configuration. Deploy and monitor Apache Kafka clusters, Kafka connect on SaaS or PaaS editions. Develop scripts in bash, PowerShell, and other languages for automation. Implement and manage monitoring and observability solutions for real-time performance tracking and alerting. Integrate various DevSecOps tools for vulnerability scanning and code quality. Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in cloud environments and deployment processes. Collaborate with development teams to enhance end-to-end release process, resolve incidents and implement solutions. Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational requirements. Adapt to changing needs and contribute to various projects as required Participate in on-call escalation rotations for 24x7x365 support; evening, overnight, and weekend, holiday and on-call work may be required. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Certifications in Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, or monitoring platforms. Minimum 1-3 years of DevOps engineering experience, working with software engineering or development team. Experience in managing cloud and containerized environments (preferably in Azure). Familiarity with microservices architecture and open-source technologies. Extensive experience in CI/CD tools and processes. Experience with Linux and Windows operation systems. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile teams. Strong communication and collaboration skills with ability to engage stakeholders in complex and conflicting situation across multiple parties to drive a positive outcome. Knowledge in dotnet, Python and JavaScript, Datadog and SNYK is a plus
