Quantity Surveyor

Position: Quantity Surveyor Location: Woodlands Working Days: Monday to Friday Working Hours: 8.30AM - 6.00PM Salary: Basic up to $4,500 + Performance Bonus Benefits: Medical Benefits + Dental Benefits + 14-18 Days Annual Leave Duration: Permanent Why Join? Our client is an established construction company involved in underground utilities and infrastructure projects in Singapore. They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support cost estimation, tendering, procurement, contract administration and cost control for project delivery. Responsibilities: Prepare cost estimates for underground utilities construction projects, including materials, labour and related overheads. Develop and manage project budgets to ensure cost control and financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare and issue tender documents, and analyse and evaluate tender submissions. Support contract negotiation and procurement processes for project requirements. Monitor project costs and expenditures, and prepare regular financial reports and forecasts. Identify, manage and report cost variations and claims in accordance with contractual terms. Draft, review and manage contracts and subcontracts related to underground utilities construction. Support the resolution of contractual issues and disputes while ensuring compliance with contract requirements. Work closely with project managers, engineers, utility companies and other stakeholders to support smooth project execution. Provide advice on cost-related matters and project feasibility. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, construction cost control, tendering or contract administration. Experience in underground utilities, civil engineering, infrastructure or related construction projects will be advantageous. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word. Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail. Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills. Able to multitask, work independently and manage project deadlines effectively. Positive working attitude and willingness to learn.
