The Role As a Senior Marine Electrical Engineer, you will spearhead the top-level technical design of power generation, distribution, and automated control networks, serving as a pillar for the digital and green transformation of the fleet. What You Will Do Lead the generation of electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), short-circuit calculations, harmonic analyses, and electrical load balances. Design and check high/low voltage distribution networks, switchboards, and overall shipboard cable routing strategies. Integrate Integrated Automation Systems (IAS), Energy Management Systems (EMS), navigation, and communication topologies. Act as the technical liaison for shipowners and power propulsion suppliers to resolve critical electrical interface and commissioning conflicts. What You Need Graduate from Diploma, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field with 5+ years of marine electrical design experience. Expert mastery of electrical calculation software (e.g., ETAP or specialised marine CAD tools) for drawing validation and network analysis. Solid comprehension or direct project experience with marine battery storage (BESS) or DC Grid applications is highly valued. Strong multi-cultural communication skills in English to balance varying regional project demands.
