About this role

Key Responsibilities · Support the Chairman and Exco in implementing the SAS 5-Year Transformation Plan, including dashboard tracking and progress reporting. · Lead membership growth initiatives and support membership retention efforts. · Coordinate meetings with regulators and policy makers, including the collation and presentation of industry feedback where required. · Develop and implement strategies and initiatives that enhance membership experience and deliver value to members. · Organise and support the annual conference together with the Conference Chair and committee members. · Convene, organise, record, and follow up on meetings of SAS Exco and working groups on behalf of the Exco, particularly on policy, regulatory, and technology-related matters. · Liaise and negotiate with vendors or solution providers on behalf of members. · Manage the day-to-day operations and administration of the Association’s office. Requirements · Minimum 10 years of relevant industry experience, with familiarity in developments affecting the securities industry. · Strong communication and organisational skills to support working groups and industry consultations. · Proven ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders, regulators, and member firms. · Strong analytical and strategic decision-making skills, with a results-oriented mindset. · Demonstrated experience as a team leader.
