Toolroom Technician / Mold Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities Perform maintenance, repair and servicing of plastic injection molds and tooling equipment. Carry out preventive maintenance and cleaning of molds to ensure optimal production performance. Troubleshoot tooling issues and recommend corrective actions. Support tooling modifications and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure molds and tools are maintained in good working condition to meet production schedules. Assist in root cause analysis for tooling-related issues. Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and housekeeping standards. Support production teams in resolving mold-related problems. Perform other duties assigned by the Toolroom Manager or Supervisor. Requirements Technical qualification in Tool & Die Making, Precision Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines. Experience in plastic injection mold maintenance and repair. Good knowledge of plastic mold construction and tooling systems. Able to perform mold dismantling, troubleshooting, polishing and assembly. Familiar with preventive maintenance procedures. Ability to read technical drawings and tooling specifications. Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills. Able to work independently and as part of a team. Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents only. Candidates with experience in mold maintenance, toolroom operations, plastic injection molding tooling, or precision engineering environments are highly encouraged to apply.
