Senior Quantity Surveyor (ACMV)

Job Description: · Attend tender briefings, site surveys, site show-rounds, and tender interviews during the tender stages · Analyze and evaluate tender specifications, drawings, and tender documents to determine project scope, pricing, and associated costs within the required submission timelines. · Review tender documents thoroughly and prepare tender clarifications and queries within the stipulated deadlines · Manage and participate in both public and private sector tender submissions · Prepare and submit Design & Build (D&B)tenders · Liaise and coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations and technical submissions · Source, evaluate, and negotiate competitive quotations from suppliers and subcontractors for tender costing · Review project budgets and recommend the most competitive pricing strategies for tender submissions · Prepare, assess, and submit monthly progress claims and evaluate subcontractors' monthly progress payment claims · Evaluate and certify work completed, administer contract variations, and manage both main contract and subcontract documentation · Review contracts, Letters of Award (LOA), and Letters of Intent (LOI), and provide advice to management on contractual matters · Prepare and award subcontracts, including all related contractual documentation · Finalize and negotiate both main contract and subcontract final accounts Requirement: · Candidate must possess a Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Building or equivalent; · Minimum 5 years of local working experience in construction industry; · Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit will be preferred; · Well versed in both public and private conditions of contract used in Singapore · Strong negotiation, interpersonal skills and a team player; · Meticulous in work and analytical skill in problem solving; · Able to work under pressure
