Cloud Engineer

About the Role We are looking for a skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure. You will play a key role in building scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions that support our applications and business operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with major cloud platforms, strong automation skills, and a passion for solving complex infrastructure challenges. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform). Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment and infrastructure updates. Monitor system performance, availability, and cost, implementing improvements as needed. Implement and enforce cloud security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and network security. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and connectivity issues across development, staging, and production environments. Automate manual processes to improve operational efficiency (using scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell). Collaborate with software development, DevOps, and security teams to support application architecture and deployment needs. Manage containerized workloads using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes. Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, configurations, and operational procedures. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents to ensure system reliability. Evaluate new cloud services and tools to improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency. Support disaster recovery planning and backup strategies.
