We are looking for a Cook II (Bakery) to join our team! Job Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present food items according to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. Perform daily mise en place and ensure all ingredients are prepared for service. Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, and portion control. Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and rotation of food products in accordance with food safety standards. Monitor stock levels and communicate replenishment requirements to supervisors. Minimize food wastage through effective inventory management and portion control practices. Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas. Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunction or maintenance requirements promptly. Assist in receiving and inspecting food deliveries to ensure quality and freshness standards are met. Support the chefs and culinary team in daily operations, promotions, and special events. Job Requirements Minimum 1 year of relevant culinary experience in a hotel, restaurant, or similar establishment. Basic knowledge of food preparation methods, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, including HACCP practices. Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation. Capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced and high-volume kitchen environment. Strong teamwork and interpersonal communication skills. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
