Key Responsibility Areas 1. Casework - Utilise relevant theories into practice - Engage, assess, provide intervention and evaluate practice - Assess client’s needs, level of functioning and system intervention - Understand client groups and manage associated risk and protective factors - Demonstrate reflective practice - Conduct outreach and engage client’s family, where applicable, to develop action plans to support the client - Engage other relevant agencies to support the client holistically - Ensure proper documentation and report-writing 2. Group Work - Prepare and plan groupwork sessions/intervention - Implement groupwork intervention - Evaluation groupwork intervention processes and outcomes - Attend to the needs of the groups and individuals 3. Programme Development and Implementation - To systematically design sound social work intervention programmes with clear programme logic model/ theory of change - Deliver programme and conduct outcome-based monitoring to ensure the successful accomplishment of its quantitative and qualitative objectives - Consider systems dynamics and impact when designing and delivering programme - Mobilise resources and engage in collaborative work - Manage programme budget and ensure cost effectiveness - Ensure proper documentation and report-writing 4.
