About the team The Business Development team at Shopee plays a pivotal role in driving the platform’s ambition to become the number shopping destination for all. Focused on expanding Shopee's presence in each industry sector, our team works strategically to enhance both buying and selling experiences, fostering key partnerships with top global and local brands. With a strong emphasis on data-driven decision making, market insights, and trend analysis, we are dedicated to identifying new opportunities and crafting innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers. As part of this high-performing team, you will contribute to shaping Shopee’s leadership in the competitive e-commerce space. Responsibilities Support Key Account Managers (KAMs) with daily operational tasks related to campaigns and strategic initiatives in the Lifestyle cluster, which includes three exciting categories: Sports, Pets and Hobbies & Books Gain exposure to global and local Sports brands, explore the growing demand for pet products, and research and propose ideas on emerging trends on Hobbies & Books Conduct competitor analysis and research to gain insights into the competitive landscape across various categories Identify and engage niche sellers to participate in Shopee campaigns, driving their long-term growth and success Apply creative and innovative problem-solving strategies to overcome challenges and optimise outcomes Requirements Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in any related discipline Positive, team-player, and energetic attitude Entrepreneurial spirit,works well in a dynamic environment Excellent in communication, enjoys interacting and forming relationships with partners Analytical and comfortable with data, Microsoft Excel skills will be advantageous Relevant experience in e-commerce and knowledge of local fashion and/or lifestyle industries is an advantage Full-time interns
