SEO Content Intern - Regional Brand & Growth Marketing (Fall 2026)

About the team Shopee is looking for a curious and driven SEO Content Intern to join our SEO Content Team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys writing, has an interest in SEO and content strategy, and is excited about how AI is shaping the future of search and content creation. You will work closely with the Regional SEO Assistant Manager and SEO Specialist to create and optimise content, support SEO initiatives, and contribute to content experiments that improve search visibility across Shopee's platforms. Responsibilities Write, edit, and optimise SEO-focused content, including articles, landing pages, and product-related content, following the team’s content framework and SOPs. Conduct keyword research and apply on-page SEO best practices. Publish and manage content through CMS platforms. Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity to support content ideation and workflow improvements. Review, fact-check, and refine AI-assisted content to ensure accuracy, quality, and alignment with Shopee’s brand voice and SEO content standards. Structure content with LLM-extractable formatting where relevant. Apply on-page SEO best practices (e.g. meta titles, descriptions, internal linking, keyword placement) Support content performance tracking, reporting, and optimisation efforts. Contribute ideas for content experiments and emerging search trends, including AI-powered search experiences. Ad-hoc tasks required by the Regional SEO Content Team Requirements Strong written and editing skills. Basic understanding of SEO principles and content writing best practices. Ability to research, synthesise information, and produce clear, engaging content. Strong attention to detail, grammar, and willingness to learn. Interest in AI tools and their application in content creation. Familiarity with WordPress, CMS platforms, Google Search Console, or SEO tools (e.g. Ahrefs) is a plus.
