Business Planning Analyst - Shopee International Platform (Operations)

About the team The Shopee International Platform (SIP) Operations team is the analytical engine behind our cross-border e-commerce operations. We track key performance metrics, use data-driven models to solve complex operational challenges, and lead high-impact initiatives from start to finish. Collaborating closely with both local and regional teams, we focus on optimizing processes, reducing costs, and ensuring a seamless experience for our global users. Responsibilities Independently monitor and track key operations performance metrics (e.g. cancellation rate, return & refund rate) to ensure day-to-day operations are carried out smoothly Analyse data sets and apply data-driven models to define, size and solve any operational challenges Own the entire lifecycle of operations initiatives. Take total accountability from initial project kickoff, definition of charter objectives, through execution, cross-functional orchestration, and final post-mortem delivery Collaborate extensively with both local and regional teams for day-to-day issues and launch new initiatives to reduce cost and optimise processes Requirements Bachelor's degree in business or science. A master’s degree is advantageous but not required Minimum 1 year of working experience in e-commerce, retail buying, business analytics background Ability to interpret data and generate key analysis that guide key decisions and attain business objectives Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Proficiency in SQL would be an advantage Result-oriented, team player and enjoy working in dynamic environment to drive growth
