Channel Strategy Associate/Senior Associate, Regional Brand & Growth Marketing

About the team The Channel Strategy team leads Shopee’s efforts in building and scaling cross-channel collaborations with key external platforms. From opportunity scoping to go-to-market planning and performance tracking, the team works cross-functionally to plan data-based growth initiatives, drive seamless user experiences, and expand our channels across Shopee’s markets in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, and Brazil. Data and insights are at the core of our strategy - we closely track traffic metrics, analyse performance, monitor competitive trends, and deliver actionable recommendations to support informed business planning and decision-making. Responsibilities 1. Strategy & Initiative Development Design, plan, and execute data-driven growth initiatives across multiple marketing channels (e.g., Google, Meta, TikTok, DSPs) Translate business objectives into actionable strategies and testable hypotheses Identify opportunities to improve full-funnel performance and user engagement 2. Experimentation & Optimisation Develop and run structured experiments to validate new ideas, channels, and features Deep dive into performance data to evaluate impact, extract insights, and define next steps for scaling or iteration Build frameworks for testing and learning across different markets and business needs 3. Cross-functional Collaboration Partner closely with internal stakeholders (marketing channels, product, analytics, and creative teams) to develop and execute integrated full-funnel strategies Align on priorities, ensure smooth rollout of initiatives, and drive end-to-end project ownership 4. Innovation & New Opportunities Explore and implement new and innovative approaches to engage users and improve marketing efficiency Stay up to date with the latest trends in digital marketing, including Social, Search, and emerging platforms Identify and pilot new channels, tools, and partnership opportunities 5. AI & Automation Enablement Leverage AI and automation tools to improve campaign performance, workflow efficiency, and decision-making processes Collaborate with internal teams to integrate scalable solutions into marketing operations Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Business Analytics, or related disciplines; A master’s degree is advantageous but not required Minimum 2 years of experience in digital marketing; experience in e-commerce industry is a plus Strong understanding of digital advertising channels, including ad networks, OEMs, DSPs, and mobile marketing. Good knowledge of attribution platforms, AI, automation, or marketing technology solutions Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to translate data into actionable business recommendations Strong analytical and project management skills with a data-driven approach to problem-solving Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners
