The Regional Talent Management & Development Manager is responsible for leading the Talent Management and Learning & Development agenda across the Asia Pacific region. The role develops and executes integrated talent strategies that strengthen leadership capability, succession pipelines, organizational effectiveness and workforce readiness in support of business growth. The position partners closely with Regional Leadership, Country Management Teams, HR Business Partners and Global Centres of Excellence to design and implement regional frameworks covering talent management, succession planning, leadership development, learning, employee capability and strategic workforce development. The role champions a culture of continuous learning, high performance, leadership excellence and organizational transformation while ensuring consistent governance and implementation across all countries in the region. Key Responsibilities 1. Regional Talent Management & Succession Planning • Develop and implement the regional Talent Management strategy aligned with business priorities and long-term workforce plans • Lead the annual Regional Talent Review process, including Country, Area, Regional and CEO Talent Calibration sessions • Design and govern regional succession planning frameworks for critical leadership and business critical positions • Partner with Regional Leadership Teams and Country HR to identify high-potential employees and establish Individual Development Plans (IDPs) • Facilitate talent calibration sessions to ensure consistency and objectivity across countries. • Drive talent mobility initiatives, including cross-country assignments, regional career pathways and internal talent marketplace programs • Monitor organizational bench strength, succession readiness, talent risks, and leadership pipeline health • Support Strategic Workforce Planning through talent analytics, capability assessments and future workforce planning 2. Leadership & Learning Development Lead the design, implementation and continuous enhancement of regional leadership and management development initiatives aimed at strengthening leadership capability, accelerating talent readiness and building a sustainable leadership pipeline across the organization. Key responsibilities include: • Align leadership programmes with business strategy, leadership competency frameworks and succession priorities. • Integrate executive assessments, coaching, mentoring, action learning projects, simulations and business case studies. • Establish learning journeys supporting leadership transitions from first-line managers through senior leaders. • Evaluate programme effectiveness using participant feedback, behavioural change, leadership readiness, and business impact. Experience requirement: • Proven track record of leading regional talent management and leadership development initiatives across multiple countries and diverse markets. • Extensive experience in talent reviews, succession planning, leadership assessment and workforce capability development. • Demonstrated success in operating within multinational, matrixed and culturally diverse organizations. • Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives and deliver results across multiple stakeholders and geographies. • Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building capabilities, including experience partnering with senior business leaders and HR teams.
