KeyResponsibilities 1. Design &Shop Drawing Coordination Prepare and detail shop drawings for Client and Consultant approvals. Review and check shop working drawings submitted by subcontractors and specialist contractors to ensure strict compliance with project requirements, specifications and to authority requirements. Thoroughly interpret and cross-check structural, M&E, and architectural drawings and specifications. Prepare combined services and architectural coordination drawings to eliminate design clashes and obtain approvals well ahead of site execution schedules. Evaluate construction details to advise project teams and consultants on site buildability, sequence of works, practical execution, and design improvements. Identify, highlight, and discuss discrepancies found between architectural drawings, structural/M&E details, contract documents, and specifications with Site Engineers and Consultants. 2. SiteOperations & Quality Control Monitor and ensure that all architectural works on site are carried out strictly in accordance with approved shop drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks. Conduct regular joint site inspections with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Consultants to resolve site discrepancies, inspect detailing, and verify work quality. Oversee mock-up units and architectural finishes to ensure compliance with local quality standards (e.g., BCA CONQUAS / Quality Mark guidelines) and project aesthetic requirements. Track, monitor, and report daily/weekly architectural work progress on site to ensure project timelines are maintained. 3. MaterialSubmission & Procurement Liaison Liaise closely with suppliers, specialists, and subcontractors to prepare, manage, and track architectural material submissions and sample approvals in a timely manner. Ensure approved physical material samples and sample boards are maintained on site for quality control and inspection references. 4. IMSCompliance & Documentation Control Adhere strictly to Company IMS procedures on documentation control, version tracking, drawing registers, and systematic archiving for easy retrieval. Assist Project Managers and Site Engineers in preparing sketch design drawings, detail proposals, and Method Statements for architectural works to present for consultant approval. 5. Safety &General Duties Ensure that all architectural operations on site align with the project’s Workplace Safety, Health, and Environmental (WSHE) guidelines and ISO standard procedures. Perform any other operational or site-related duties as instructed by the Management or Reporting Officers. Requirements Relevant Degree / Diploma in Architecture or its equivalent Minimum 4-5years experience Understand the specifications, drawings, scope and sequence of works Ability to interpret construction drawings for any discrepancies Awareness of requirements of relevant authorities (i.e. BCA) Good team player
