JOB DESCRIPTION As Finance Manager and Business Partner, you will oversee and manage the overall finance function of the company. At the same time, provide strategic financial advice and professional expertise in the interpretation & application of finance policy to support & influence financial planning and management decision making and ensure that SEC meet all financial obligations. Key Responsibilities: 1) Supervisory role in Full Set of Accounts and Financial Management · Oversee and review monthly closing of accounts and ensure that accounts are prepared in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standards in Singapore (“FRS”). · Review bank reconciliations and balance sheet schedules. · Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports / dashboard and liaise with business units and support dept heads on the explanation of variances against budget. · Timely submission of monthly financial reports / dashboard to FC/AC. · Manage the accounts payable function to ensure prompt and accurate payment to suppliers and staff. · Manage the accounts receivable function to ensure prompt & accurate billing and receipt of payment from customers. · Review GST accounting & submissions. · Oversee and review year end closing of accounts and the preparation of audit schedules and draft financial statements · Liaise with external auditors on annual statutory audit and preparation of audited financial statements. · Coordinate and liaise with internal auditors on audit reviews, findings and management action plans. · Maintain risk register and support the monitoring and mitigation of risks. · Review policy and procedures to ensure proper internal control compliance · Oversee MYOB financial system 2) Budget Planning and Forecasting · Plan & coordinate with business units and support depts on the preparation of the annual budget · Review actual performance against budget and highlight major variances and financial risks. · Ensure effective budget control on expenses. · Plan & coordinate mid-year forecast to track and review actual and forecast performance against full year budget 3) Internal & External Stakeholders Management · Engage internal stakeholders on business / operation issues, attend to ad hoc queries and requests from business units and provide advice on finance related issues. · Liaise with Committees & Board on quarterly meetings and approvals. · Liaise with IRAS / MCCY on Annual submissions & IPC status Renewal.newal. Job Requirements: ACCA,Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent At least 7 years’ working experience Hands-on approach with good interpersonal communication and negotiation skills Adaptable& collaborative working style.
