Compliance Manager

JD Compliance Manager Our client, an independent trust company. We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to support our corporate services business. This is a key position responsible for regulatory oversight, risk management, and the development of a strong compliance culture across the organization. Key Responsibilities Act as the designated Compliance Officer for Corporate Service operations, ensuring effective oversight of compliance risks across the business. Ensure adherence to applicable regulations including AML/CFT, FATCA, CRS, GDPR, and relevant corporate service provider regulatory frameworks, as well as internal policies and procedures. Review and approve client onboarding and ongoing business acceptance, ensuring alignment with regulatory standards. Monitor compliance risks and resolve outstanding issues such as incomplete documentation, overdue periodic reviews, and remediation actions. Conduct periodic reviews of client files and escalate key findings, breaches, or control gaps to senior management. Support regulatory engagements including audits, inspections, filings, and requests from relevant authorities. Lead the implementation and enhancement of compliance frameworks, policies, and procedures. Lead and manage the compliance team supporting Corporate Services, including workload allocation, performance management, and issue resolution. Qualifications & Skills Degree in Law, Business, or related field. 8 years of compliance experience, preferably in professional services. Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (AML, FATCA, CRS, etc.). Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
