Job Title: Senior Production Executive – Hot Kitchen (Food Manufacturing) Job Description: We are looking for a Senior Production Executive to assist our Production Manager in daily hands-on production operations within the hot kitchen of our food manufacturing facility. This is not an office-based role; the candidate must be actively involved in production, identifying concerns, implementing innovations, improving efficiency, and fostering a positive and inclusive work culture. Leadership, training, and food and workplace safety are top priorities. Key Responsibilities: Production Support – Work directly in production areas to assist the Production Manager in managing hot kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and timely production. Food Safety & Quality – Enforce GMP, HACCP, ISO/FSSC22000, and maintain high food safety standards. Process Improvement – Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to optimize workflow and reduce waste. Team Supervision & Culture Development – Provide guidance, training, and leadership to staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment within our multicultural workforce. Inventory & Suppliers – Monitor raw material stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure continuous production flow. Troubleshooting – Actively resolve production issues, including equipment malfunctions, batch inconsistencies, and workflow disruptions. Cross-Team Collaboration – Work closely with R&D, QA, Logistics, and Maintenance to ensure smooth production operations. Compliance & Workplace Safety – Prioritize food safety and worker safety, ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations. Leadership & Training – Train and mentor production staff to develop a skilled and efficient workforce. Reporting & Analysis – Support tracking of production efficiency, cost control, and waste management for continuous improvement. Job Requirements: At least 3 years of hands-on food manufacturing or central kitchen experience (not office-based) in a supervisory position. Diploma or equivalent in Food Science, Food Technology, Manufacturing, Culinary Arts, or a related field an added advantage but not mandatory. Candidates without the relevant academic qualifications but has more than 5 years of food manufacturing supervisory experience are welcome. Strong knowledge of food safety, GMP, HACCP, and ISO22000. Hands-on experience with food production equipment and batch cooking. Strong leadership, training, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage and manage a diverse workforce. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and production software. Willing to work on-site in production areas, including shifts, weekends, and public holidays when required.
