Compliance Analyst / Compliance Officer

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Analyst / Compliance Officer to support the company's compliance and regulatory functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and industry standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with various internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews where applicable. Perform sanctions screening, adverse media screening, and ongoing customer monitoring. Review and assess compliance risks associated with new clients, business relationships, and transactions. Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls. Prepare compliance reports, risk assessments, and regulatory documentation for management. Monitor regulatory developments and communicate relevant changes to internal stakeholders. Support internal and external compliance audits and regulatory inspections. Investigate potential compliance breaches and recommend corrective actions. Deliver compliance awareness training to employees when required. Maintain proper documentation and ensure accurate record keeping. Liaise with regulators, financial institutions, and external service providers when necessary. Perform other compliance-related duties assigned by management. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Law, Business, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline. Minimum 2–5 years of relevant compliance, AML/CFT, risk management, audit, or regulatory experience. Good understanding of Singapore regulatory requirements, AML/CFT regulations, PDPA, and compliance best practices. Experience in KYC/CDD/EDD, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, or regulatory reporting is an advantage. Familiarity with MAS regulations and compliance frameworks is preferred. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under deadlines. Strong integrity, professionalism, and ethical judgment. Ability to work independently as well as within a team. Preferred Qualifications Professional certifications such as CAMS, ICA Advanced Certificate, ICA Diploma, ACAMS, or equivalent will be an advantage. Experience in financial services, fintech, payment services, corporate services, digital assets, or regulated industries is preferred. Experience handling regulatory audits or inspections will be an added advantage.
