About this role

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team which provides daily specialist outpatient and inpatient care in the Department of Cardiology. You will participate in ward rounds and combined department or hospital teaching seminars, including clinico-pathological case conferences. You will also represent the Centre at Coroner’s request or medico-legal hearings involving patients under the care of the department. In addition, you will assist with the training and guidance of junior doctors such as Resident Physicians, Medical Officers, Residents and Senior Residents. Requirements: A basic medical and relevant postgraduate qualification such as MRCP or equivalent, recognised by the Singapore Medical Council An accredited Specialist in Cardiology with the Specialist Accreditation Board of Singapore At least 8 years’ post-housemanship clinical experience Documented proof of: (i) Measles (or MMR - Mumps, Measles and Rubella) vaccination or serological evidence of measles immunity; and (ii) Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis) vaccination received within the last 10 years, as required for all healthcare workers under the Healthcare Services Act. Applicants without these vaccinations may apply if they commit to completing the required vaccination(s) before work commencement, upon successful job offer.
