Senior IT Consultant (Enterprise Application)

You will be responsible for delivering IT projects, enhancing applications, and providing support that keeps our business operations running smoothly. You will also play a key part in driving product success across its entire lifecycle, using your skills to analyze data, spot trends, and make informed decisions. Your roles include design, development, testing, debugging, and implementing software applications or specialised utility programs in support of end users' needs on platforms. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, external partners, and stakeholders including business analysts, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions. Reporting to the Lead IT Consultant, you will manage assigned projects independently with minimum supervision. Key Responsibilities: Product Management Drive the planning and execution of products throughout their lifecycle, gathering feedback from users, defining the product vision, and collaborating with colleagues from different areas. Ensure products align with organisation goals and overall strategy. Stay updated on similar products in the market to keep our offerings competitive. Use research to plan the product’s development roadmap, ensuring it remains ahead of the curve. Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate ides and support solution implementations. Project Management Lead the successful delivery of IT projects from initiation to implementation. Ensure that project goals are met, including understanding user requirements, participating in solution design, testing, and deploying solutions. Prepare and maintain project documentations in accordance with SIT standards. Manage procurement activities, including preparing Invitation to Quote (ITQs)/Requests for Proposals (RFP), evaluate vendors, conducting technical assessments and supporting contract administration. Build strong partnerships with business users and maintain open lines of communication. Work closely with vendors to make sure products and services are delivered as promised. Responsible for all stages of Application Development from design, develop, and implement web and mobile applications using the approved technologies and platform while adhering to best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with the team to ensure application functionalities are meeting the project requirements. Maintenance and Support Ensure ongoing application maintenance and support, making sure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met. Oversee and provide support, including fixing bugs, handling service requests, and troubleshooting issues. Keep system documentation up to date, ensuring compliance with SIT standards. Perform system and data analysis, including refining existing logic and processes. Respond to audit queries and maintain security compliance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field. At least 8 years of IT experience, including 4 years in software/application development or other technical roles, and 4 years in project management. PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage. Strong understanding of modern IT technologies, methodologies, and best practices. Experienced in both SDLC and Agile methodologies. Knowledge and experience in IIS Server, VisualStudio 2016/2019 and MS SQL Server T-SQL. Relevant experience in Outsystems, .NET Core, CRM products such as Microsoft Dynamics and/orSalesforce, Data Analytics Tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Qlik and/orTableau, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Tools such as Microsoft Power Automate or RPA UI Path, and Microsoft Platform will be an advantage. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to identify issues and provide efficient and effective solutions. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively in a team environment, share knowledge, and mentor junior team members.
