The role focuses on driving innovation, sustainability, productivity, and technological advancement to support the company's growth and competitiveness in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage research and development projects related to construction methods, materials, and technologies. Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations for new products, systems, and construction techniques. Identify opportunities to improve construction productivity, quality, safety, and cost efficiency. Research sustainable building materials and environmentally friendly construction solutions. Develop and implement innovation strategies aligned with company objectives. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors on R&D initiatives. Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements. Evaluate Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital construction, automation, and smart construction technologies. Prepare technical reports, research findings, and recommendations for management. Manage R&D budgets, project schedules, and resource allocation. Support the development of intellectual property, patents, and proprietary construction solutions where applicable. Ensure compliance with local building regulations, industry standards, and workplace safety requirements. Provide technical guidance and training to engineering and project teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or a related discipline is an advantage. Minimum 5–10 years of experience in construction, engineering, or research and development roles. Experience in managing construction innovation projects and technical teams.
