Job Purpose As a core member of the Resource Development (RD) Team, you will report to and work closely with the Digital Fundraising Team Lead, and share collective responsibilities in meeting the society’s and digital fundraising objectives. In particular, you will be responsible for supporting and executing Singapore Red Cross’ (SRC) digital fundraising and donor engagement strategy across various online/offline channels. The position plays a crucial role towards SRC’s mission in serving the vulnerable community, by leveraging digital platforms to drive donations, donors’ engagement and maximising fundraising opportunities across various channels to meet the digital fundraising target. Job Responsibilities Digital Fundraising ● Support, develop and execute digital fundraising plans to acquire new donors, and engage existing donors to generate sustainable financial support for SRC’s programmes and events. ● Create compelling fundraising appeals, stories and content to inspire donations and reach a wide range of potential and current donors / supporters. ● Proactively think beyond traditional methods to design bold, creative, engaging and impactful campaigns that inspire a culture of giving. ● Support and review community-driven digital fundraising campaigns and initiatives across multiple platforms, including but not limited to crowdfunding, payment gateway, social media, website, email and direct mailers to acquire, renew and retain donors. ● Monitor and track performance and donor data to gather insights and optimise the effectiveness of fundraising campaigns. ● Work closely with the Corporate Communication & Marketing team, and various departments and programmes within SRC on content development and creative design. Others ● Collaborate within the RD team and across functions or programmes, to integrate online fundraising with offline fundraising, and align holistically with the organisation directives and initiatives. ● Engage and collaborate with volunteers to strengthen community fundraising efforts and research on industry trends and best practices ● Stay informed about emerging trends in philanthropy, online fundraising, digital marketing, donors’ behaviour and best practices, incorporating innovative strategies to enhance fundraising effectiveness. ● Support RD events before and after office hours (may be asked to work weekends when necessary). Qualifications: ● Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Skills & Proficiencies: ● Possess the ability to think through problems, and arrive at solutions, independently or collaboratively. ● Excellent written and spoken English and a 2nd language (Mandarin, Malay or Tamil) with the ability to craft compelling and clear fundraising and donor communications. ● Candidates with design or marketing backgrounds and proficiency with design software (Photoshop / Illustrator / Canva), video editing software (Capcut, Adobe Premiere / After Effects), Google suite (Google Docs, Google Sheets), and use of AI is an advantage. ● Proficient in data analysis and tracking performance metrics is an advantage. ● Proficient in fundraising systems and platforms, such as online fundraising platforms and donor management systems are added advantages. ● Positive and collaborative attitude with a big heart for humanity.
