About the Role We are seeking an experienced Director, Product & Technology to lead our product strategy and technology development for next-generation new energy commercial vehicles. This role is responsible for driving product planning, technology roadmap development and the overall product development lifecycle, ensuring our products remain competitive in global markets while supporting the company's long-term business strategy. The successful candidate will possess strong automotive industry knowledge, proven leadership experience and the ability to bridge technology, product development and commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Develop and drive the company's product strategy, product portfolio and long-term product roadmap. Define and execute the company's technology roadmap aligned with business objectives. Lead the full product development lifecycle, including market research, product definition, engineering development, testing, validation, certification, production and commercialization. Provide strategic and technical direction across vehicle architecture, electrification, battery systems, powertrain, thermal management, intelligent driving technologies and connected vehicle solutions. Evaluate emerging automotive technologies and identify new product opportunities with commercial potential. Lead technical and product reviews, balancing innovation, performance, cost, quality, reliability and business value. Establish and continuously improve product development processes, engineering governance and R&D project management frameworks. Build, lead and develop high-performing product, engineering and R&D teams. Collaborate closely with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, sales and business development teams to ensure successful product delivery. Translate customer requirements and market needs into competitive product and technology solutions. Support senior management in strategic product, technology, partnership and investment decisions. Requirements Bachelor's Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation or other related engineering disciplines. A Master's Degree is an advantage. Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in the automotive, new energy vehicle, commercial vehicle, advanced manufacturing or related industries. Strong background in product development, engineering, technology management or product planning. Previous experience leading engineering, product, R&D or technology teams in a senior management capacity. Solid understanding of the complete vehicle product development process. Proven experience managing vehicle platforms, major vehicle programmes or core technology development projects. Experience covering the full product lifecycle from concept through commercialization.
