We currently have an opening for a Capacity Engineer (Data Center) role for our client in Singapore which is a leading global investment bank . The Data Centre Capacity Engineer is responsible for capacity planning and management across data centres and network equipment rooms. This role ensures sufficient space, power, and cooling are available to support current operations and future growth, while maintaining resilience, compliance, and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities Capacity Planning & Management Plan and manage data centre and network room capacity covering space, power, and cooling . Develop short‑, medium‑, and long‑term capacity forecasts based on IT demand and growth projections. Support phased load planning (e.g. IT load ramp‑up by phase). Infrastructure Assessment Evaluate electrical infrastructure including UPS, transformers, PDUs, generators , and redundancy (N, N+1). Assess cooling infrastructure such as CRAH/CRAC units, chillers, and cooling towers to support projected IT loads. Identify capacity constraints, single points of failure, and mitigation options. Design & Setup Support data centre and network room design , layout, and rack planning. Review and validate load calculations for electrical and cooling systems. Ensure new deployments align with data centre standards and best practices. Tools & Inventory Maintain accurate capacity data in DCIM and asset management tools (e.g. Nlyte, Remedy ).
