PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Manager of SSHWS Active Ageing & Senior Care Centre is responsible for delivery, maintaining and increasing the efficiency of the service. It is his/ her responsibility to supervise, train, motivate team, manage programs/ activities, strategize process improvements and deliverables, among other things. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality healthcare services to the elderly population within the facility. This position requires a dynamic and experienced leader who will oversee, strategize, plan, review activities, manage a team of healthcare professionals, and collaborate with community partners to promote the health and well-being of elderly residents. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Leadership Provide leadership and expertise to ensure the delivery service model & desired outcomes. Oversee and participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of plans. Team Management Supervise and lead a team of healthcare professionals, providing guidance, support, and achieve optimal performance. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and continuous learning. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss client care, address concerns, and share best practices. Quality Assurance Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to maintain high standards of care. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices. Collaboration Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and support staff to provide comprehensive care for residents. Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss and plan resident care. Foster inclusive care by engaging residents of the surrounding community and strengthening the centre’s presence through active collaboration with community partners. Proactive in seeking collaboration internally across SSHWS services & external parties. Education and Training Develop and conduct training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Stay updated on the latest healthcare trends, guidelines, and technologies relevant to elderly care. KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS Communication Maintain open and effective communication with residents, their families, staff members and external stakeholders. Budget Management Work collaboratively with the finance department to manage budget efficiently. Other Qualities Sharp business mind and proven success in productivity. Skilled in people management. Proficient in IT and finance. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards in Singapore is an advantage. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE Diploma & above. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
