About this role

Job Description Provide technical support and system walk-downs to ensure the proper installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment and systems. Review technical documentation, conduct equipment checks and system tests, and prepare test reports to confirm compliance with technical specifications. Participate during construction, installation, start-up, testing and field commissioning activities. Develop protocols and checklists for each system and associated equipment Prepare method statements, procedures and routines as required Develop commissioning plan and its timely execution, and contingency plan as required Analyse the test report to verify all the tested equipment to be commissioned satisfy the design/technical requirement Monitors, verifies and reports on commissioning activities to the Commissioning Manager / lead Undertake commissioning activities and interface with other disciplines to ensure integration of activities Coordinate with equipment / subsystem specialist or commissioning engineers (from equipment supplier) Report on work progress, bringing to notice the potential problems, troubleshooting or delays and recommended solutions Perform inter-discipline checks and ensure compliance in accordance with HSE Standard Ensure compliance & perform any other duties as requested by design lead/ engineering management. Requirements Min Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering discipline Min 5 years in hands-on pre-commissioning and commissioning of process plant (such as chemical plant, incineration plant, food waste, water/wastewater plant, offsites & utilities, ACMV, pollution abatement, etc), working in fast paced, diverse and multi-disciplined teams, and O&M activities Experience in construction and commissioning safety is advantageous Familiar with internation code of practice and standards such as Singapore Standard, ASME, EN & PED Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Project Excellent coordination skills, strong written and communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work within a diverse team, multi-task, and able to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight, and uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion. Ability to develop schedule as per project master schedule, prepare commissioning checklists, generate test report and analysis test report
