Outfitting Engineer

Key Responsibilities Prepare and review outfitting engineering deliverables, including layouts, technical specifications, equipment datasheets, material take-off, and design calculations. Develop outfitting arrangements for offshore or marine facilities, including access platforms, ladders, handrails, stairs, doors, hatches, helideck interfaces, deck outfitting, accommodation areas, and material handling systems. Coordinate outfitting design interfaces with structural, piping, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, marine, and safety disciplines to ensure integrated and constructible design solutions. Review vendor drawings, fabrication yard documents, and supplier technical submissions to ensure compliance with project specifications and class requirements. Support procurement activities by preparing requisitions, reviewing technical bids, and providing technical clarifications for outfitting materials and equipment. Support fabrication, installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities by resolving technical queries and reviewing site changes or non-conformance items. Participate in design reviews, constructability reviews, safety reviews, and technical meetings with clients, yards, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Provide engineering support for accommodation outfitting, safety and lifesaving equipment arrangements, corrosion protection interfaces, and access or maintenance provisions where applicable.
