Job Title: HVDC Electrical Erection Supervisor Location: Project construction site, Admiralty Yard - Singapore About the Project: For the construction and commissioning of a High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) transmission system, we are seeking a versatile and experienced professional to cover the role of HVDC Electrical Erection Supervisor. This position ensures smooth and proper erection of sensitive HVDC equipment. Role Overview: HVDC Electrical Erection Supervisor oversees the onsite assembly and installation of heavy electrical equipment at the converter station. This role is focused on the successful execution of mechanical and electrical erection tasks from the unloading of components to the final mechanical completion, ensuring that all assembly procedures align with OEM specifications and site safety protocols Key Responsibilities Supervise the installation of HVDC equipment, including converter transformers, valve halls, smoothing reactors, filter banks, and busbar systems. Coordinate heavy lifting and rigging activities to ensure equipment is installed safely and accurately. Ensure all assemblies and installations comply with manufacturer manuals, technical specifications, and approved drawings. Monitor daily installation progress, material deliveries, and identify any potential delays or installation issues. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and site engineering teams to resolve interface and construction issues. Maintain installation documentation, including as-built records, checklists, torque verification logs, and non-conformance reports. Ensure all erection activities comply with site safety, environmental, and project quality requirements. Requirements Technical diploma or degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5 years of experience in the erection and installation of high-voltage transmission equipment. Experience in HVDC converter station construction is highly preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and civil drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly schematics. Experience supervising subcontractors and coordinating heavy equipment installation. High-voltage installation certification or relevant electrical trade license is preferred. Knowledge of rigging and lifting standards is an advantage. Able to work in outdoor construction site environments. Role: Mechanical Erection Supervisor Location: Seatrium Admiralty Yard, Singapore. Start Date: ASAP (Onboarded 1 Aug) Contract Duration: 1 year (extendable) Working Hours : 6 days/week, 9 hours/day (including break). Monday - Saturday Overtime: Paid
