Multi-Platform Sub-Editor (Lianhe Zaobao)

We are looking for a highly motivated and sharp-eyed Multi-Platform Sub-Editor to join our fast-paced newsroom. Key Responsibilities: Craft high-impact story headlines and standfirsts for various platforms Design, prepare and complete layouts for print Ensure factual accuracy and alignment of final copies to the publication’s house style Work closely with reporters and editor to coordinate, curate and optimize content Requirements: Degree in Journalism, Communications, Chinese Studies or related field. Candidates with 2-3 years of relevant experience in a newsroom or editorial environment are highly preferred. Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (both written and spoken), as this role is for a Chinese publication Strong interest and in-depth knowledge of news and current affairs A meticulous team player with a strong sense of responsibility Strong analytical skills and inquisitive nature Able to work late shift (3pm to Midnight) to meet our daily production cycles
