Corporate Counsel

About the Role We are looking for a lawyer to join our Legal team. You will play a key role in supporting our operations on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters, working closely with the business units within the Group spanning editorial, commercial and corporate functions. Key Responsibilities Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders across editorial, sales, production and corporate functions. Draft, review, and negotiate on a diverse range of agreements and transactions. Advise on transactions for the production, procurement, distribution and delivery functions of the business Advise on intellectual property rights and related issues in the digital media and other platforms Support corporate and strategic initiatives, including new product launches and digital transformation projects Corporate secretarial duties for the companies in the Group. Qualifications & Competencies: Qualified lawyer in Singapore with LLB and at least three years of post-qualification experience Corporate and commercial work experience, with exposure in technology and data privacy law Ability to provide clear, practical advice in a fast-moving environment Highly-analytical with keen attention to detail Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills A team player who is able to work independently and with cross-functional teams A strong interest in technology, data and digital economy Competence in the Chinese language will be an asset for advice on Chinese documents
