Locker Network Operation Executive - Business Development, SPX Express (1 Year Contract)

About the team The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices. We’re looking for a sharp, proactive, and detail-oriented Strategic Operation Executive to join our high-performing SPX Express Locker team. You will be a key player in optimising procurement processes, vendor management, enforcing compliance, and leading cost-saving initiatives across one of Southeast Asia’s largest e-commerce logistics networks. Responsibilities Procurement Planning and Negotiation: Drive SPX cost-saving initiatives through strategic sourcing and continuous process improvement.Conduct tenders and procurement exercises based on operational requirements, ensuring optimal vendor selection and commercial terms.Analyze market trends and pricing data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and service enhancement Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Manage locker vendors on procurement process, manufacturing quality, product reliability, and after-sales service performance Project management: Lead end-to-end projects aimed at improving operational efficiency, delivery capacity, and service performance. Collaborate closely with Operations and other cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives. Track and report project milestones, ensuring timely execution and measurable outcomes Policy & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal procurement policies and SOPs. Monitor and enforce compliance with MOM regulations and relevant government guidelines Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with teams across Operations, Finance, Legal and Regional teams. Present regular updates and insights to senior management in clear, concise reports Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management or other relevant fields Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical thinking. Internship or working experience in relevant fields such as Procurement, Accounting, Supply Chain Operations Proficient in Excel Attention to detail and strong organisational skills Ability to work effectively within a team and cross-functional environments Kindly note that you can only be considered for one role at a time with any of the companies within our Group.
