Mechanical Technician-Diesel Engines & Repairs (Tuas)

The role involves leading a team in rectifying engine systems and equipment onboard ships, ensuring job defects are delivered and conducting acceptance tests on repaired equipment. Responsibilities also include general repair, maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical defects, and performing necessary part replacements and reassembly checks. Candidates must possess an NTC/Higher NTC in a Mechanical, Marine, or Automotive related field, preferably with 1-2 years of relevant experience. A basic understanding of mechanical or diesel engine components and proficiency with precision hand tools like micrometers and torque wrenches are required.
