Technical Manager (AWS / Azure Cloud Infrastructure)

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Technical Manager to lead the design, deployment, and operations of enterprise cloud environments across AWS and Azure . This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for cloud architecture, automation, security, and operational excellence across both Day 1 (deployment) and Day 2 (operations) activities. You will work closely with engineering, security, and operations teams to deliver scalable, resilient, and secure cloud platforms while driving automation, continuous improvement, and cloud governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, implementation, and management of cloud architectures across AWS and Azure platforms Develop cloud solutions aligned with enterprise security, compliance, and technology standards Evaluate and implement new cloud services, tools, and deployment models Support cloud migrations, integrations, and infrastructure modernization initiatives Drive automation through Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) , CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring solutions Monitor cloud environments for performance, availability, security, and cost optimization opportunities Oversee cloud operations, platform maintenance, and automation tooling Lead incident resolution, troubleshooting, and operational improvement initiatives Develop and execute disaster recovery testing and resilience exercises Maintain cloud architecture documentation, standards, and operational procedures Requirements Strong experience designing and operating enterprise cloud environments on AWS and Azure Proven expertise across both Day 1 deployment activities and Day 2 cloud operations Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates , or similar IaC tools Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and cloud monitoring solutions Experience with cloud security, governance, compliance, and operational best practices Python scripting experience is advantageous Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments; Google Cloud knowledge is a plus Strong leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in Agile and DevOps environments To Apply or find out more information on this role, please email us or send your updated resume to: lynn.tay@starcareerconsulting.com Lynn Tay (Reg.
