Assistant/Principal Engineer (Fpga)

Assistant/Principal Engineer (FPGA) Required to manage customer and system-level requirements into detailed FPGA specifications, while also ensuring that FPGA-based subsystems function correctly within the larger electronic warfare, avionics, or communications systems. Responsibilities: System Engineering Duties : Elicit, analyze, and manage system-level requirements. Involved in defining system architecture and allocate requirements to hardware, software, and FPGA subsystems. Lead design reviews and interface with customers on technical specifications. FPGA Design Duties : Architect, code (VHDL/Verilog), simulate, and implement FPGA designs Experience in debuggingFPGA-related system issues using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG debuggers. Integration & Validation : Support hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and system-level integration. Work along side software engineers to validate driver and firmware interactions. Generate documentation, requirements specification, design description, verification report, and user manual. Prepare comprehensive firmware/software documentation by converting software and interface requirements into clear and concise development specifications. Requirements: Strong in performing hands-on FPGAdesign, verification, and system-level integration. Good in handling FPGA design and Firmware. Minimum 2 to 3 years of combined experience insystems engineering and FPGA development. Familiar with systems engineering processes (ISO15288 or similar) Familiar with Python scripting Understanding of verification & validation(V&V) methodologies Understanding of digital signal processing (DSP)fundamentals is a plus Experience with both system thinking and deep FPGAexpertise Bachelor/Masters in electrical engineering,computer engineering or systems engineering Experience with requirements management tools Exposure to safety/security standards (DO-254, IEC61508, or similar) is advantageous Singaporeans only We respect your privacy and all communication will be treated with confidentiality.
