Engineer

Job Summary Lead and manage mechanical and electrical (M&E) project activities, ensuring smooth operations, compliance with safety standards, and effective coordination among clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Responsibilities Plan, execute, and supervise all mechanical and electrical (M&E) work at project sites to ensure timely and quality delivery Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to maintain operational efficiency and system reliability Support continuous development by addressing operational requirements to sustain smooth project execution Inspect fire and protection alarm systems and coordinate timely repairs to ensure safety compliance Conduct general upkeep procedures to maintain site functionality and safety standards Prepare accurate quotations and proposals to support project budgeting and client communication Lead project scheduling and coordinate project teams, including clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, to monitor and drive work progress Attend project meetings with clients and consultants to align project goals and resolve issues Make accurate, decisive, and prompt decisions related to M&E work matters to maintain project momentum Propose practical, reliable, and cost-saving design solutions that comply with relevant building codes and practices Provide regular feedback to management on work progress and site issues to enable corrective actions Oversee subcontractors’ work to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations Coordinate and supervise installation, testing, and commissioning services to meet project specifications Manage site documentation requirements to support project tracking and compliance Perform any other ad hoc duties assigned to support project and operational needs Preferred competencies and qualifications Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering 1-3 years of relevant working experience Technical knowledge of M&E systems, including Electrical and Mechanical systems, Fire protection systems, AV systems, and ACMV systems, is advantageous Willingness and ability to perform shift work if required
