ROLE OVERVIEW The Interior Designer at SHC his tasked to humanizes the clinical environment by design spaces that are familiar, warm, and calming. Drawing on a background in hospitality, luxury residential, or high-end commercial interiors, the successful candidate will apply their design sensibility within the unique and deeply rewarding context of healing environments and spaces that serve the client's vision, mission, aims, and objectives while promoting the wellbeing of every person who inhabits them. This role is designed for an individual who has a keen eye for taste and detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Interior Design & Concept Development ▪ To aid the Design Director(s) in develop interior design concepts, mood boards, material palettes, and finishing schedules for high-end healthcare and mixed-use projects, ensuring alignment with evidence-based design (EBD) principles. ▪ Translate architectural spatial intent into an interior language whilst balancing aesthetics, functionality, infection control requirements, and the Salutogenic qualities of light, texture, biophilic elements, and color. ▪ Prepare interior design documentation including room finish schedules, furniture layouts, signage and wayfinding concepts, and loose furniture specifications.
