About this role

Who we are About Stripe Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career. About the team The Korea Account Executive team is responsible for developing and growing Stripe's enterprise business across South Korea. We work with the country's largest and most complex organisations — helping them modernise their payments infrastructure, expand internationally, and unlock new revenue streams through Stripe's platform. This is a strategic, high-autonomy role where you will own the full enterprise sales cycle and act as the primary orchestrator of cross-functional resources to win and grow large accounts. What you'll do As an Enterprise Account Executive for Korea, you will independently develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for your territory. You'll build deep relationships with C-level and senior decision-makers at Korea's largest enterprises, lead consultative discovery to uncover complex business challenges, and position Stripe's platform as a strategic infrastructure partner — not just a payments vendor. You will own your territory plan end-to-end: defining which accounts and segments will drive your targets, building pipeline with conviction, and executing account plans with clear milestones and deadlines. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy — setting your own direction, anticipating risks, and driving outcomes without requiring day-to-day manager guidance. This role requires someone who thrives in ambiguity, can navigate complex enterprise buying cycles involving multiple stakeholders and legal entities, and brings the rigour to manage a disciplined pipeline while simultaneously developing creative solutions for Korea's unique market dynamics. Responsibilities Own and execute a territory plan that clearly articulates how you will achieve your targets, including account prioritisation, segment focus, and pipeline gap analysis Develop and maintain detailed account plans for your top strategic accounts — with specific objectives, execution steps, milestone deadlines, identified risks, and stakeholder maps Identify and develop enterprise opportunities across Korea's largest organisations, with a focus on building long-term strategic partnerships Lead executive-level discovery conversations independently — diagnosing customers' business models, operational inefficiencies, and financial bottlenecks to anchor Stripe's value narrative Demonstrate deep understanding of contract structures, deal terms, and their commercial implications for both the customer and Stripe Maintain rigorous Salesforce pipeline hygiene: accurate sales stages, verified close dates, logical next steps, and updated deal valuations — refreshed weekly Apply MEDDIICC qualification methodology consistently across all active opportunities, with thorough completion required for deals. Leverage Gong for conversation intelligence to advance deals and improve discovery skills Maintain accurate forecasting and provide clear, evidence-based deal assessments Act as the primary owner and orchestrator of your account teams — aligning Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, etc and other internal partners around clear objectives and next steps Run account reviews and opportunity syncs with confidence — presenting a clear plan, articulating ownership, defining cross-functional assignments, and monitoring progress to advance opportunities Operate independently — setting your own strategic direction, managing your time effectively, and prioritising high-impact activities over reactive work Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and lead generation through to deal closure, onboarding, and activation Proactively manage contract renewals and identify expansion opportunities within your existing accounts Ensure every prospective and existing Stripe user has a high-quality experience at every interaction Who you are We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifi…
