Snr. / Project Engineer (Electrical)

Job Description & Requirements Key Responsibilities: Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and control systems, tailored to specific building and operational requirements. Perform electrical load calculations, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations, and system sizing to ensure efficiency and safety. Select appropriate electrical equipment (e.g., switchgear, transformers, panels) based on technical specifications and project requirements. Provide guidance to the drafting team on updates or changes to electrical layouts, schematics, and single-line diagrams using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP). Ensure all designs and installations comply with relevant codes, safety regulations, and energy efficiency standards (e.g., BCA, SS, IEC, ISO). Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare detailed documentation including technical reports, cost estimates, and operation and maintenance manuals. Required Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 2–3 years of experience in electrical system design and project implementation. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, control panels, and wiring standards. Experience in project coordination or site supervision for electrical works.
